Cows Grazing Along Magnetic Fields

Recent research has shown that animals graze along magnetic fields. Specifically, cattle and deer all over the world tend to graze in a north-south direction that aligns with magnetic north, not geographic north. Here, Foer makes the field from a collaged map of magnetic anomalies across the United States.
