The first collage in a series about Philadelphia made for this exhibition, the artist integrates images of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Fairmount Water Works. The kite and a key are an homage to Franklin’s legendary and successful experiment of 1752 proving that lighting is static electricity.
