When Israeli settlements and cities were attacked by Hamas terrorists on 7 October 2023, many of the lives lost were the same people who were working to improve conditions for the Palestinians in Gaza. The nazar is a traditional Mid-Eastern amulet to ward away the evil eye. In this case, all hopes are fallen dashed and crumbling.
